Terms of Use

These terms explain what users may do on the platform, what they remain responsible for, and how we protect the service from misuse.

Platform role

Invoice Maker provides invoice creation, PDF generation, email delivery, account history, templates, and related workflow tools. We do not verify the accuracy, legality, tax treatment, enforceability, or commercial validity of any invoice or message created by a user.

Users are solely responsible for invoice content, customer details, tax calculations, payment terms, and legal compliance.
The platform is not legal, tax, accounting, collections, or financial advice.
We may remove, restrict, or refuse content that appears fraudulent, abusive, illegal, or harmful to the service.

Accounts and verification

Access to invoice creation requires signup, login, and email verification. Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure.

Each user is responsible for activity under their account and tenant workspace.
Automated signup, credential stuffing, scraping, or bypassing CAPTCHA and rate limits is prohibited.
We may request additional verification before restoring access after suspicious activity.

Subscriptions and plan limits

Free and paid plans are billed or limited according to the active plan shown in the billing area. Subscription cycles begin on the date the user subscribes or changes to the paid plan, unless a different billing date is shown during checkout.

The Free plan includes 5 invoice creations per month and may include app ads before downloads.
Paid plans increase invoice volume and remove free-plan download ads according to the selected plan.
Deleting an invoice archives it for record integrity and does not remove prior usage from monthly limits.

User content and recipient data

Users must only enter, store, or email information they have a lawful right to use. Recipient contact records may be created from invoice activity to support billing history and future communication workflows.

Users must not upload or send misleading invoices, forged payment instructions, malware, spam, or unlawful content.
Users are responsible for honoring recipient privacy rights, opt-out requests, and applicable marketing laws.
We may retain invoice, usage, billing, and delivery records to operate the platform, investigate abuse, and satisfy business or legal requirements.

Disclaimers and liability limits

The platform is provided as a software tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for user-generated invoices, recipient disputes, unpaid invoices, incorrect tax handling, fraud by users, or business losses caused by misuse of the platform.
Users agree to indemnify the business from claims arising from their invoices, account activity, recipient communications, or violation of these terms.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of fees paid for the service in the prior three months or USD 100.

Suspension and changes

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, illegal activity, excessive usage, or violation of these terms. We may update these terms as the product and legal requirements evolve.

Material changes may be announced in-app, by email, or by updating this page.
Continued use after a policy update means the user accepts the updated terms.
Users may stop using the platform at any time, subject to outstanding billing obligations.

Policy questions

Are generated invoices legally guaranteed?

No. Users are responsible for invoice wording, tax treatment, payment terms, and compliance with their local laws.

Can an invoice be permanently deleted?

User deletion is treated as archive so billing, audit, and usage history remain consistent.
