Plan usage limits

Monthly invoice creation limits follow the active plan in the billing portal. A cloned invoice counts as a new invoice creation because it creates a new billing document and usage event.

Free: 5 invoice creations per month, limited email sends and limited downloads per invoice.
Paid plans: higher invoice creation limits, unlimited invoice downloads and email sends unless abuse safeguards apply.
Unlimited plans are intended for normal business invoicing and are not bulk email, spam, archival import, or machine-generation plans.

Email and download safeguards

Invoice email and download features are provided for normal client billing. We may throttle, queue, review, or block activity that appears automated, deceptive, excessive, or harmful.

Free-plan download screens may display ads before the PDF download continues.
Mass recipient uploads, purchased lists, unsolicited marketing, phishing, spoofing, and debt-collection harassment are prohibited.
Repeated failed deliveries, spam complaints, or suspicious recipient patterns may trigger limits or account review.

Automation and security

Users must not bypass product controls or use scripts to create, download, email, scrape, or archive invoices beyond normal human workflow.

CAPTCHA, login, email verification, billing checks, and rate limits must not be bypassed.
Credential sharing, resale access, or operating the account as a public invoice API without written approval is not allowed.
We may apply temporary rate limits during unusual traffic, abuse investigations, or infrastructure incidents.

Enforcement

When usage threatens platform reliability, deliverability, reputation, or legal compliance, we may take action proportionate to the risk.

Actions can include warnings, throttling, temporary holds, plan upgrade requests, feature restrictions, or account suspension.
We may preserve logs, invoice records, recipient data, and abuse signals needed to investigate misuse.
Severe abuse, fraud, illegal activity, or payment evasion may result in immediate termination.

Policy questions

Does unlimited really mean unlimited?

Unlimited means no fixed monthly invoice count for normal business use. It does not allow spam, resale, automated generation, or activity that harms the platform.

Why does cloning count against the invoice limit?

A clone creates a new invoice record and can be downloaded or emailed as a new billing document, so it counts as new usage.
